Dave and Dave were gents from start to finish. After having had issues with rats in our house, they came to carry out a full drain survey. This picked up a hole in one of our waste pipes - something that had been missed by another contractor. They were incredibly professional and reassuring, talking us through the issues and process for addressing. We’re delighted with the end result, which has finally stopped the rats entering our house! We couldn’t recommend them more and they will be our first port of call for any future issues.

A professional and friendly family-owned business. They came out at short notice to inspect the works and provide a quotation on a non-committal basis and then returned once they had the go ahead. They were responsive via email and and kept me up to date on their ETA.

I used Down the Drain to fix a problem with an exterior sump pump. They attend twice, first to disconnect a faulty sump pump (one of a pair) so that the other pump could function, and second to replace the faulty sump pump. Both times they did an excellent job, explained what they were doing and showed me that the problem was resolved. Recommended.

Their customer service is brilliant, taking time to make sure we understood the problems, the works they proposed and answering questions clearly at every stage. They are highly skilled craftsmen with wonderful equipment and they left the area they worked in immaculate. All round very positive!
